Instructions

  1. Bring chicken broth to a boil. Add pork and cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Add tofu, bamboo shoots, and mushrooms. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in rice vinegar, soy sauce, white pepper, and chili oil.
  4. Stir cornstarch slurry and add to soup, stirring until thickened.
  5. Slowly drizzle in beaten egg while stirring gently.
  6. Taste and adjust sourness (more vinegar) or heat (more pepper/chili oil).
  7. Ladle into bowls and garnish with green onions.
