Instructions

  1. Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine beef, pork, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix gently with your hands.
  3. Form into 1.5-inch meatballs (about 20).
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, about 8 minutes. They don't need to be cooked through.
  5. Add marinara sauce to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook 20-25 minutes until meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
  8. Serve pasta topped with meatballs and sauce. Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh basil.
