Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, water, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Stir the cornstarch slurry and add to the saucepan.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil.
  6. Let cool before using. Sauce will thicken more as it cools.
  7. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
